Jess’s Rule

Jess’ Rule gives patients, families, and carers the right to ask for an urgent review if they are worried that a patient’s condition is getting worse.

If you feel your concerns are not being heard, you can ask for a review by a senior clinician. Your request will be taken seriously.

Jess’ Rule helps make sure patients are listened to and receive the right care at the right time.
