Practice staff

Practice Manager heads a team which consists of the following staff:-

Practice Support Pharmacist works with the Practice to assist with appropriate prescribing and medication queries.

Practice Nurses whose work includes routine and travel immunisations, cervical smears, ECGs and ear syringing, in addition to involvement in the variety of clinics that are offered by the Practice. Our practice nurses can be seen by appointment and are also available to give advice by telephone.

Health Care Assistants who are trained as phlebotomists to take blood and generally assist the doctors and practice nurses.

Ancillary Staff consisting of receptionists, secretaries and administrative staff.

Health Visitors who have special expertise in health promotion/disease prevention for patients of all ages. They can be contacted on 01802 615978 from:

Monday to Friday: 0830hrs - 1000hrs
  1600hrs - 1700hrs

Midwives who hold weekly ante-natal clinics at our surgeries in conjunction with the doctors. They can be contacted on 01803 654615 or by leaving a message with our receptionists.

Counsellors to whom patients will be referred by their GP.

Carer Support Worker – please contact the surgery for details.

Patient Panel and Patient Support Group are a group of volunteers,  who provide a valuable link between the patients and doctors, including information, newsletters, transport, befriending and other services to patients needing support.
